HGV need to meet Euro standard in Nice

Nice has implemented a ZFE for HGV.

The mobility orientation law "LOM" of December 24, 2019 governs the ZFE system.

From January 1, 2021, the establishment of a ZFE is mandatory, within 2 years, when air quality standards are not regularly met, with regard to criteria defined by regulation, on the territory of the municipality or of the competent EPCI with its own tax system and that land transport is the source of a preponderant share of emissions.

The establishment of a low mobility emission zone (ZFEm) on the territory of the Nice Côte d'Azur Metropolis complements the many active mobility actions in the territory, concentrated on a studied perimeter, already making it possible to significantly reduce air pollution, namely: the tram network, the carbon-free bus fleet, the 30 zones, the bicycle plan, the self-service vehicle offer, and in general all the carry-over actions modal.
